The New R Range By Lucius
The new R range by Lucius takes LEDs to the next level. Available in two options – a 6 Bar Flex 680w LED model, and a single bar model, available in 140w or 240w. High quality LED’s on the market at the moment range from 2.7 – 2.9umol/j. The R series by Lucius smashes that, with an impressive 3.5 and 3.2 umol/j. The R series features OSRAM’s newest feature in LED Technology – red diodes. The enhanced red diodes aid your plants throughout the vegetative and flowering phase. Red light helps with chlorophyll production – the pigment that gives plants their green color, extra chlorophyll increases photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the process of plants converting light into energy. With this increase in energy your plants experience an increase in growth – particularly in the flowering stage. Resulting in bigger and better flowers and heartier yields.
The Flex-R utilizes 680w across 6 bars. Each bar is built to last – with IP65 rated silicon protecting the LED’s from dust, and water sprays.
This 680w powerhouse has a maximum total PPF of 2350 umol/s – making it stronger than a 1000w double-ended HPS. It is also the most efficient LED in the market with an efficacy of 3.5 PPF/w, resulting in more uniform and usable light for your plants.
The Flex-R can be daisy chained together; you can connect up to 100 units. They are also able to be controlled by remote control units such as the TrolMaster Hydro-X.
They are also dimmable. A dimmable function may seem counterintuitive, but it is rather brilliant. Being able to dim your light down to a lower setting is helpful for cuttings, or when your plants are stressed.
Available in two different sizes the Bar-R is the most efficient bar style LED in the market with 3.2umol/j. Both bars utilize the latest OSRAM red diodes, and the ability to be dimmed. They also have water resistant IP65 rated silicone, which protects against humidity and dust too.
The Bar-R’s can be controlled by an external controller, and the ability for up to 80 units to be daisy chained together. The Bar-Rs are equipped with a Power Daisy Chain option- allowing the LED’s to be connected without needing power cords for every single LED. This prevents additional wiring in the grow room and overcrowding of power outlets.
The Bar-R is designed to install in a series or parallel to suit different grow environments. They come with all the accessories needed to install on a roof, a Unistrut, on a pole, or any structure.
