Grodan Granulate is a premium, ultra-clean substrate designed for advanced hydroponic cultivation. Manufactured from molten basalt and limestone, the material is spun into fine, cotton-like fibres and then compressed into various forms, including cubes, blocks, slabs, and loose granulate.

This sterile rockwool medium is suitable for both recirculating and run-to-waste hydroponic systems. Its exceptional water-holding capacity supports optimal root development and consistent moisture delivery, making it ideal for a wide range of crops.

Grodan Granulate is supplied in compact 20kg bales, each of which expands to provide approximately 140 liters of high-performance growing medium.
