Hydroponic growing media lack the diverse microbial life soil naturally provides. Without active inoculation, roots in a hydroponic system develop without the beneficial bacterial populations that improve nutrient uptake efficiency, break down organic matter, and support root mass development. Root Wizard addresses this directly, supplying six strains of plant-growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPRs) that colonise the root zone and establish a productive microbial ecosystem around the root system.

The six strains include Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, licheniformis, subtilis, laevolacticus, and pasteurii, alongside Paenibacillus azotofixans, each at viable spore concentrations sufficient to establish stable root zone colonies. These organisms break down organic matter into plant-available nutrients, clean up metabolic waste in the growing medium, produce compounds that extend root hair length and overall root mass, and improve the efficiency with which the plant absorbs what is supplied through the nutrient solution. A larger, more active root system means more of the nutrition fed to the plant is actually utilised, directly improving the return on nutrient investment across the cycle. Suitable for use as a root drench or foliar spray. Shelf life 18 months or more.
