Bluelab Truncheon EC Meter

The Bluelab Truncheon has been the standard handheld EC meter in the hydroponic industry for decades, and for good reason. It does one thing: measures conductivity, and does it without buttons, switches, calibration, or complexity of any kind. Place the probe head into the solution, and the reading is indicated by flashing LEDs across EC, CF, ppm 500, and ppm 700 scales simultaneously. That is the entire operation.

No calibration is required because the calibration is locked in at manufacture to Bluelab's factory standard, removing both the ongoing maintenance task and the risk of miscalibration affecting accuracy. The fully waterproof housing handles the wet conditions of daily hydroponic use, and the auto on/off function means there is nothing to switch off between uses. At 40.7cm in length, the probe reaches the bottom of most standard reservoirs without submerging the body. 3x AA batteries included. An instrument that has earned its reputation across decades of professional use.
