Aqua One Water Conditioner

Most tap water contains chlorine, chloramines, and heavy metals added during municipal treatment. In a hydroponic system, these compounds cause serious problems. Chlorine and chloramines are toxic to the beneficial bacteria that drive biological activity in your root zone and growing media, and will actively degrade the performance of organic biostimulants and inoculants. Contrary to common practice, letting water sit or running a bubbler will dissipate free chlorine over time, but does nothing to remove chloramines, which are chemically stable and require a dechlorinator to break down.

Aqua One Water Conditioner neutralises chlorine, chloramines, and heavy metals on contact, making tap water safe to use in your system immediately. It is completely safe for plants, beneficial microorganisms, and all components of a hydroponic or aquaponic setup. A straightforward and essential step any time tap water is introduced to a system, whether filling for the first time, topping up, or performing a reservoir change.

The 200ml bottle treats up to 1200L of water.
