Aqua One Flexible Aquarium Airstone - 60cm

Standard rigid airstones are effective but limited in where and how they can be placed. The Aqua One flexible airstone is designed to be shaped and positioned however the tank layout demands, whether that means running along the back wall, curving around a feature, or fitting into a tight corner that a rigid stone can't reach.

As with any airstone, the primary function is to break incoming air into fine bubbles, increasing the surface area available for oxygen exchange and improving circulation throughout the water column. The flexible design produces less back pressure than traditional rigid airstones, which reduces the workload on your air pump and extends its lifespan. The resulting bubble curtain also works as a visual feature in its own right.

As a general rule, the longer the airstone, the more powerful the air pump needs to be to run it effectively. Check your pump's output rating before sizing up.

This airstone is 60cm in length and suited to larger tanks where broader coverage and a fuller bubble curtain are the priority. A higher-output air pump is recommended to run it at full capacity.
