SafeVac is a specialised solution for preserving flower potency and quality, even in vacuum-sealed conditions. Unlike traditional vacuum films used for food storage, SafeVac utilises Grove Bags' proprietary TerpLoc® technology to maintain optimal humidity, prevent degradation, and save space, ensuring your flower stays fresh, potent, and protected during storage and transit.

Best Practices for Use:

Drying: We recommend a 10-14 day drying period at 60°F and 60% RH. Use a moisture meter to ensure your flower is between 10-12% moisture or 0.55-0.58 aW (using a water activity meter).

Packing: Unroll the film to create the desired pouch size and heat-seal one edge. Leave space inside the bag to allow the technology to work effectively.

Sealing: Use a vacuum sealing machine to remove air from the pouch, then heat-seal the open edge.

Curing: After sealing, allow the product to cure for at least 2 weeks (longer for enhanced results). SafeVac naturally expands or puffs up as your buds cure, eliminating the need for burping.

Storing: Store sealed pouches in a cool, dark place at around 60°F and 60% RH for the best curing results. SafeVac can also be used in freezers, ensuring fresh storage without freezer burn.
